First Pheasant chicks Hatched!!!




OK we hatched out 12 of our first pheasant eggs !!!

  1. Need some advice on how to keep the pheasant babies alive and well. What do you use for your new chicks?

I am not quite sure if you mean feed or bedding.For feed i use pheasant starter or chick starter and give them some mealworms to raise the protein.for bedding i usually use hay or lawn clippings since they like to eat the shavings,and it somehow gets stuck in their digestive tract and then stunts their growth!!!
